Hi. My name is Naomi, and this is my day in the life as a Beyond Blue intern at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
I always start my day with making my bed. I'll always make a London fog with my breakfast and then I like to take my food outside and read before I get my day started. This makes sure that I have a clear headsp space and a good mindset before the day starts. And of course, before I leave, I have to say hi to Potato.
Before work, I always like to listen to music or an audiobook.
I work as the Beyond Blue intern for this summer, meaning I work at Blue Cross Blue Shield's Beyond Blue Centers. We provide one-on-one personalized insurance support and service, as well as free community events for community health and well-being.
Today was more project-based than meeting heavy, so I focused mainly today on working on Beyond Blue's new SharePoint site.
For lunch, I just had some leftover Cava. Then I took a walk just to get some fresh air and sunshine.
One cool opportunity we have as interns is to meet with the executive leadership team. And today we met with the president and CEO. We were able to listen to him talk about his career journey and experiences as well as offer us advice as young professionals. And we even got the opportunity to ask him questions as well, which was really cool.
After that meeting, I finished up some last few emails and finished the last finishing touches on the SharePoint site and I headed home. Thanks for spending the day in the life with me.
